본 교과목은 생산기술을 생산함수와 그 쌍대함수인 비용 및 이윤함수 등을 통해 표현하고 생산기술이 가지는 제 특성을 분석한다. 또한 계량경제학적인 기법을 통해 실제로 추정하여 생산과정이 가지는 제 기술적인 특성을 검정하는 방법들을 연구한다. 개별 생산자 자료의 집계화에 관한 이론과 기술변화, 그리고 비모수적 방법을 통한 생산기술의 분석 등도 연구한다.

정책평가모형론은 농업 및 식품자원 분야의 다양한 정책 효과를 실증적으로 분석하기 위한 계량적 접근법을 학습한다. 수업에서는 이중차분모형(DID), 성 향점수매칭(PSM), 회귀불연속(RDD), 비용 편익분석(CBA) 등 정책효과 분석 의 주요 기법을 이론과 사례 중심으로 다룬다. 학생들은 실제 데이터를 활용 하여 정책평가모형을 설계 추정하는 실습을 수행한다.

In this course, we will examine the role and consequences of agriculture in the process of economic development from the historical and international perspective.
